Girl Scout Night at the University of Utah February 21

Girl Scout Night at the U of U was a blast.  Enjoy the pictures from the event and look for more at the Facebook link mentioned below.  There were four engineering activities for 110 girls scouts (4th – 12th grade), 30 volunteers, and 7 guest engineering clubs with displays in the Catmull gallery.  The parent’s room was another activity where 50 parents could ask questions of a panel of engineers with varied backgrounds on how to get their girls even more involved with engineering careers.  What a great night.  Many thanks go to Steffi for her boundless energy to organize this event. It was very special for the girls, parents and the volunteers.

Dear Girl Scout Night Volunteers,
I want to thank you so much for volunteering with us last night.  We reached 110 girls and over 50 parents.  You are truely making a difference for these girls, and we couldn’t do so without the help of volunteers like you.  It was a pleasure working with all of you.
I encourage you to check out the event photos here: .  If you would like higher quality photos, or additional event photos, feel free to contact me.
Thank you again for volunteering, and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments, or stories you would like to share! We value your input in making Girl Scout Night a success.
Thank you so much,

Steffi Lietzke
