FTC at WSU-Feb 21-Pictures and write up

It was a fantastic event at Weber State University!

Held Saturday Feb 21, it was the day long FTC Championship Robotics Competition.

SWE was there.

FTC stands for First Tech Challenge.  This is for the medium size robots with more advanced programing and remote operation.  They join with other teams (blue or red) to see who gets the high score on the floor.  The FTC challenge is different each year and the teams have limited time to build and program to the meet Tech requirements. Many of these students will go on to the next level FRC (First Robot Challenge) competition and apply their knowledge learned here.

It was a long day of competition and judging, but well worth it for the sense that our future is in good hands with these smart and dedicated students.

Enjoy the pictures!
